Bay Head Fire Company Members Start Firefighter I Program

Bay Head, NJ — January 6 — Three probationary firefighters have started their official training at the Ocean County Fire Academy, according to the Bay Head Fire Company No. 1, which is situated at 81 Bridge Avenue. The members launched the Firefighter I program, which consists of live-fire training, practical skill development, and classroom teaching. The curriculum of the academy is intended to get trainees ready for coordinated emergency operations and interior firefighting. Department officials observed that good coordination and a substantial time investment are necessary for academy training. The probationary firemen will continue to learn department operations and procedures while they are enrolled. An essential phase in their development as operational firefighters is the commencement of academy training. In addition to offering its support, Bay Head Fire Company No. 1 expressed its anticipation of honoring the members following their graduation and successful completion of the program.
