WAYNE, NJ — January 3 — Throughout the day, the Community Volunteer Fire Company #1, Inc. handled a variety of emergency circumstances in Wayne Township by responding to three different incidents. In one case, there was a reported carbon monoxide problem. Before vacating the area, firemen looked into the situation, checked the atmosphere, and made sure it was safe.
Later, crews were sent to an elevator rescue, where they helped residents and collaborated with building personnel to find a safe solution.
