WAYNE, NJ — December 26 — As heavy snow was predicted throughout the township, the Community Volunteer Fire Company #1, Inc. published a winter weather reminder from the Wayne Police Department.

Officials warned that parking is not allowed on any township roads when snow covers the streets and highways. After the snow stops, the limitation is still in effect until the streets are sufficiently plowed to permit regular traffic movement. Snowplows, fire engines, ambulances, and police units can move more quickly and safely when cars are kept off the road.
