Deepwater, NJ — January 14 — The Deepwater Fire Department, located at 545 North Broadway, used a donated vehicle from Scott's Auto to undertake practical vehicle rescue training. Members were able to practice fundamental extrication techniques used in auto accidents and work directly with rescue equipment in the vehicle. Crews concentrated on coordinated actions that facilitate safe patient access, tool use, and scene safety. Firefighters can stay ready for real-world situations when prompt and precise actions are needed by practicing these fundamental abilities. Practical training boosts confidence and teamwork on the fireground, according to department officers. The exercise also emphasized options for community people who are interested in volunteering, pointing out that the main advantages of service include free training, skill development, and working with committed firemen.
