Hancocks Bridge, NJ — December 28 — A brush and trash fire on Stow Neck Road was reported to Lower Alloways Creek Fire & Rescue, which is situated at 15 Maple Avenue in Hancocks Bridge. Brush 18, Squad 35, and Engines 18-1 and 18-2 were sent to the scene. When crews arrived, they discovered a minor outdoor fire made of garbage and brush. Booster lines were used by firefighters to swiftly contain the fire and stop it from spreading. There were no reported injuries, and the issue was handled effectively. Units cleared after verifying the area was safe and no further resources were needed.
