On January 17, 2026, at approximately 1830 hours, a vehicle was traveling west on Park Avenue, in the suburban Borough of Collingswood and reportedly struck a parked car and came to rest in the middle of the road in the 700 block of Park Avenue. An adult male and a child were in the vehicle. The child was removed and reportedly uninjured, but the adult needed to be extricated from the front passenger compartment. The Collingswood Fire Department along with Pennsauken FD and Westmont FC were dispatched to the MVA rescue assignment. Collingswood FD was first to arrive and confirmed that one victim needed to be extricated from the front passenger compartment. They immediately began their work using rescue tools to extricate the victim through the passenger side front door. They made quick work to access the victim where he was removed, packaged, and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
