Alloway Township, NJ — December 26 — Rick Wesigerber, a life member, received assistance with his funeral from the Alloway Township Fire Company, which is based at 17 E. Main Street. For many years, Wesigerber served the police and the community, and both current and former members acknowledged his commitment. Reliance Fire Company, which helped with the flag display, and Lower Alloways Creek Fire & Rescue, whose members provided support throughout the services, joined the firefighters. The event was a reflection of long-standing fire department customs that value dedication, service, and respect for one another. Departments observed that collaboration and mutual assistance are essential to providing care for members and their families at times of loss and go beyond emergency responses.
