Crews Working Residential Fire Near Old Creamery Road

Andover Township, N.J. — December 19th — A reported house fire near Lenape Avenue and Old Creamery Road prompted the Andover Township Volunteer Fire Department to react. After arriving, firefighters started fighting the fire, securing utilities, and defending surrounding properties. While teams worked inside and outside the structure, equipment was set up to support overhaul and suppression.


In order to provide emergency vehicles with safe access, traffic restrictions were put in place in the immediate area. While activities were underway, drivers were urged to use caution and stay away from the area. Local law enforcement provided assistance with scene safety and traffic management. Before starting to evacuate the scene, firefighters stayed on site to finish the overhaul and make sure the situation was stable.
