Busy Response Year Highlights Service and Training in Colesville

Colesville, N.J. — January 1st — According to the Colesville Fire Company, with 362 service requests, 2025 was the busiest year in the department's history. Throughout the year, firefighters responded to a variety of occurrences, including multiple car crashes and fires. In order to be ready for daily operations, members also underwent regular maintenance and training.


The department honored departing members and welcomed new ones throughout the year. Firefighters were thanked by leadership for their many hours of training, responding to calls, and being prepared. As the department gets ready for a safe and successful 2026, gratitude was also given to the community for ongoing support and to mutual aid partners for their assistance.
