Colesville, N.J. — December 18th — Fire Police Lieutenant Joe Vallone, FP-2, passed away, according to the Colesville Fire Company. During his 19 years with the department, Lieutenant Vallone was a dependable and committed member of the fire police unit.

Vallone helped with traffic control, scene safety, and coordination with responding agencies during his tenure. His attendance at incidents and neighborhood gatherings contributed to the public's, emergency responders', and firefighters' safe operations. The family and friends of Lieutenant Vallone received condolences from the Colesville Fire Company. In addition to honoring his memory as a valued member of the organization, the department and the larger emergency services community acknowledge his years of devotion and dedication.
