Somerset, N.J. — January 1st — Somerset Fire & Rescue Co. No. 1 reported responding to 1,123 service requests in 2025, indicating a steady demand for emergency response all year long. Firefighters responded to 74 calls in December and continued to operate during the Christmas season while keeping personnel and preparedness levels high.
