Branchburg Township, NJ — 21st December — A suspected fire alarm near Route 202 prompted Somerset County Communications to send 49 Fire to Branchburg Township. North Branch Volunteer Fire Company units arrived to look into the activation and make sure everything was safe.

After arriving, firefighters carried out a routine alarm investigation, examining the structure and related fire safety systems to identify the alert's origin. The equipment was placed to minimize the impact on traffic in the Route 202 corridor while enabling staff to work safely. There were no injuries sustained during the reaction, and no fire conditions were recorded right away. While emergency personnel were working in the area, drivers were urged to use caution.
