NBVFC Responds to Fire Alarm in Branchburg

Branchburg Township, NJ — 18th December — A reported fire alarm prompted the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company to send units to Branchburg Township, where they responded near Route 202. Firefighters came to look into the alert and make sure the adjacent houses and inhabitants were safe.


When personnel arrived, they followed regular alarm investigation protocols, and Somerset County Communications coordinated the response. While staff investigated the premises to identify the cause of the activation, equipment was brought to the spot. While emergency units were operating, drivers were warned to use caution along Route 202. There were no obvious signs of a fire, and no casualties were recorded. The issue was dealt with in a standard manner.
