Branchburg Township, NJ — 17th December — Responders advised drivers to exercise care in the vicinity of Evans Way after the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company was sent to Branchburg Township in response to a suspected carbon monoxide alarm. Firefighters arrived to look into the alarm and make sure the people were safe.

Around the same time, emergency personnel were working near Readington Road when Somerset County Communications sent Fire District 49 to a different fire alarm in Branchburg. To identify the cause and ensure there was no active fire or ongoing threat, fire personnel carried out routine alarm investigations. No injuries were recorded, and both occurrences were handled as standard reactions. While emergency personnel were on duty, there were very modest effects on traffic in the impacted regions.
