NFD & Changing Path Mentoring Program's Coat Drive

The following is to be brought to the attention of all Officers and Members of the Newark Fire Division:

This Winter the Newark Fire Division has partnered with Newark's Changing Paths Mentoring Program to host a coat drive. Please support and share your warmth with our citizens of the City of Newark. The mission is to provide free coats, hats, scarves and gloves to children and adults who are in need. New and gently worn coats, hats, scarves and gloves are excepted. All gently worn items should be clean and ready to wear. Donations made by members of the Newark Fire Division and any other individual or group, can by dropped off at Newark Fire Division's Community Relations Bureau, located at, 1010 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey.

If you or someone you know is unable to drop off the donated items, please reach out to the Newark Fire Division's Community Relations Bureau at 973-733-7446 to make arrangements for pick of items or to confirm drop off hours.

This special event will take place on February 4, 2022, at the Peshine A venue School, located at 433 Peshine A venue, at 4:00 pm.

With your support and donation, hundreds of "new and/or gently used" winter coats will be distributed to men, women, infants and children in need.

Please join us with giving warmth this winter to Newark's community.
