Country Hills Fire Company Responded to Struck Gas Line at Regency Trailer Park

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — AUGUST 21 — Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company responded to Route 22 near the Regency Trailer Park on Friday morning due to a reported struck gas line.
The call was received around 9:58 a.m.
following the clearance of a residential fire alarm by Country Hills and North Branch Fire companies in the Bradley Gardens area of Bridgewater.Engine 24 arrived at the scene, where Deputy Chief 24 took command.
Firefighters stayed on site as PSE&G technicians worked to safely secure the damaged gas line.
The fire crew remained on standby and provided support to the utility company throughout the response.
Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company, Station 24, serves Bridgewater and Branchburg townships as part of the local volunteer fire service.
The company is responsible for responding to fires, hazardous situations, and other emergencies around the clock.
This incident highlighted the importance of cooperation between fire departments and utility crews when gas infrastructure is damaged, creating a possible hazard.
