PATERSON, NJ - An early-morning fire tore through a large, one-story masonry home improvement company located at 126 Berkshire Ave. on January 5th. A dog was rescued from the premises. There were no reported injuries. Several pieces of fire apparatus became stuck on ice that had formed due to the cold temperatures. The DPW responded to assist at the scene.
