Angelica, NY — December 11 —Members of Angelica Fire and Rescue helped a nearby driver who was having automobile problems as they were responding to a collision on County Road 15. Just before the event, a young woman on her way home from college for Christmas vacation had stopped and reported having a flat tire. Her car was securely positioned behind traffic cones away from oncoming cars after fire and rescue officials guided it into the designated emergency zone. Crews helped change the flat after verifying she had a spare tire. The motorist was able to safely resume her journey when the tire was changed.
