Chief Orgera Takes Command in Mendham

Mendham, New Jersey — January 7 — Chief Orgera takes over with a track record of leadership and service in the fire department. His appointment comes after the department's ongoing emphasis on preparedness, training, and coordinated response with Morris County mutual assistance partners and local leaders.


Orgera will be in charge of emergency response planning, firefighter training, and day-to-day operations as Chief. In order to assist department staffing, equipment needs, and community risk reduction initiatives, he will also collaborate closely with town leadership. According to department officials, sustaining consistent service delivery requires strong leadership. Chief Orgera was welcomed by the members, who also expressed confidence in his ability to lead the department while upholding its commitment to community service and public safety.
