Mutual Aid Operations Support Working Fire on Caitlin Court

Kinnelon Borough, New Jersey — December 27 — Due to a fully involved working structure fire at 7 Caitlin Court, the Boonton Township Fire Department was sent to Kinnelon Borough as mutual aid. Engine 4 and Utility 10 from Boonton Township were added in a third alarm that was sent before to the arrival of Tanker 6, which was allocated on the original request.


In order to assist with suppression efforts, Tanker 6 established additional water supply operations, supplying water via Kinnelon Engine 22. Utility 10 and Tanker 6 personnel worked on the B side of the house. In order to cover Kinnelon during the incident, Engine 4 was sent to Boonton Avenue Company 2. Coordinated mutual aid supported operations, according to the Boonton Township Fire Department, which is located on Old Denville Road in Boonton, New Jersey.
