Dumont, NJ — December 18 — A luncheon honoring senior, retired, and past firefighters was held by the Dumont Volunteer Fire Department. The occasion honored the long-term commitment and hard work of people who contributed to the department's development over many years. Attendees included retired cops and firemen whose dedication set the stage for today's training, operations, and community involvement. To express gratitude and recognize the part these people had in creating customs and norms that still exist today, current members came together.
