To begin a new year of leadership and service, the Dumont Volunteer Fire Department announced its chosen Chief and line officers for 2026. Chief of Department, Deputy Chief, Battalion Chief, and company officers assigned to Squad Company 1, Truck Company 2, Engine Company 3, and the Independent Hose Company were among the command and company posts chosen by department members. The department's dedication to organized leadership, training, and preparedness for emergency response across the borough is reflected in the elections.
