Middletown, NJ — December 17 — Residents were informed by the Middletown Township Fire Department that there will be a greater public safety presence this evening in the vicinity of Middletown Plaza along Highway 35. The RAINE Foundation is receiving assistance from firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical workers with planned holiday deliveries around the township. Officials stressed that there is no reason to be concerned about the activity. Residents may hear sirens as units move between delivery locations and witness emergency vehicles passing through neighbourhoods. The operation is a component of a planned community outreach program aimed at helping local families over the holidays. Participation in community events continues to be a crucial component of service while preserving preparedness for emergency responses, according to public safety authorities.
