Manalapan, NJ — December 17 — As part of the township's Hanukkah celebrations, members of Manalapan Township Fire Company 1 attended a menorah lighting ceremony at Manalapan Township Hall. For a festive get-together centered on tradition and community involvement, the event brought together local politicians, citizens, and community organizations. In addition to supporting the event, firefighters were there to keep a visible relationship with the community they serve. The department regularly engages in community events as part of its outreach initiatives outside of emergency response. Members resumed service when the ceremony ended without any problems. According to fire authorities, community involvement is still a crucial component of Manalapan Township's public safety operations.
