Manalapan Fire Company No. 1 Celebrates Historic Milestone

Manalapan, NJ — December 16 — The Manalapan Township Fire Company 1 celebrated its 75th anniversary of service, a testament to its long history of defending the township. Twenty locals founded the department on September 13, 1949, as the first organized fire brigade in Manalapan to safeguard people and property. The original firehouse was housed in what is now the Manalapan Township Community Centre on Route 33. Since its establishment, the business has expanded training, equipment, and response capabilities to suit evolving community demands, growing alongside the township. The department celebrated its 75th anniversary, honouring decades of volunteer work, operational preparedness, and ongoing dedication to public safety and fire protection in Manalapan Township.
