Keyport, NJ — December 12 — The Keyport Fire Department's Engine 22 responded to a working fire in the west as part of a mutual aid assignment. In order to provide suppression, water supply, and scene operations, numerous fire departments and emergency medical services from throughout Monmouth County collaborated. While county resources supported fire investigation and safety operations, law enforcement agencies helped with traffic management and scene security. During the incident, county HazMat professionals and the Monmouth County Fire Marshal's Office were called upon as needed. The American Red Cross offered assistance services, while teams from the public works and road departments helped with access and cleanup. Officials pointed out that effective resource deployment was made possible by established mutual aid agreements and unified leadership. Every unit finished their tasks, and operations ended without any injuries being reported.
