After a year of expansion and ongoing training, the Upper Saddle River Volunteer Fire Department named its line officers for 2026. Chief Nicholas Brusco, Assistant Chief Scott Roberts, Captain Anatoly Burman, Senior Lieutenant Peter Shapiro, and Lieutenant Thomas Cusumano Jr. are the officers for 2026. Strong member involvement and continuous improvement at all levels were highlighted by the department throughout the previous year. The department strengthened response capabilities for the neighborhood by putting a new Spartan fire engine into service in addition to developing leadership. According to department officials, the advancements made in the last year are a result of the community's support and members' dedication as they get ready for the upcoming year.
