NORWALK, CT - Norwalk responded to a two-story house fire at 1 Center Ave., January 2nd. On arrival, fire was showing through the first-floor windows. There were three apartments with a total of 10 occupants and one dog. All were displaced, and the house was posted unfit for occupancy. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross would be providing housing. The fire, which was controlled with the first due assignment, is still under investigation for cause.
