Firefighter Thomas Young of the South Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Company was honored this week for reaching a new public service milestone. One of the newest officers in the Old Bridge Police Department, Young was sworn in as a responder assigned to Engine 3. Young was congratulated on his appointment by firefighters, who also noted his ongoing dedication to serving the community in a variety of capacities.
