Colonia, NJ — December 10 — The Colonia Volunteer Fire Department joined local police, fire, and emergency medical services in lamenting the death of Woodbridge Police Department officer Michael Tenpenny, who died in a car accident.

Throughout his career, Officer Tenpenny provided competent and committed service to the Woodbridge community. Other first responders and partner agencies acknowledged his efforts and dedication to public safety. Departments that collaborate closely on a daily basis have all felt the loss. While commemorating Officer Tenpenny's service and his contributions to the community, regional organizations continue to assist his family, coworkers, and the Woodbridge Police Department.
