In December, members and friends of the New Jersey Deputy & Battalion Fire Chief's Association assembled at President Charlie Lind, Jr.'s home for a holiday gathering. The honored guest was retired FDNY Deputy Chief, and wold-famous fire service author, Vincent Dunn (sitting on motorcycle). There were "battle stories" and safety procedure discussions by all. Firefighters present included representatives the fire departments of Bayonne, Clifton, FDNY, Hackensack, Hazlet, Hoboken, Kearny, Millburn, North Hudson, Jersey City, Paterson, Orange, River Edge, Summit, Teaneck and Westwood, and the Division of Fire Safety.
