The Hughesville Volunteer FD of Lycoming County recently placed two new units in to service. Brush 24 is a 2020 Ford F-550 with a Marco body. It has a 500-GPM pump, and carries 255-gallons of water and 10-gallons of foam. Utility 24 is a 2020 Ford F-350 with a Knaphiede body. The brush replaces a 1992 GMC/E-One with 450/200, and the utility replaced a 1995 Ford F-350/2006 Knaphiede.
