— October 2, 2026 — Two firefighters from the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company recently finished a four-day hands-on Vehicle Rescue Awareness, Operations & Technician course at the Camden County Fire Academy, gaining practical experience in vehicle extrication, stabilization, use of rescue tools, and other vehicle-rescue methods.
The training, delivered by Safety and Survival Training, allowed firefighters to practice hands-on rescue scenarios in a controlled setting. This course is part of the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company’s ongoing education initiatives, aiming to reintroduce additional vehicle-rescue skills to the department.
