The City of Hazleton Fire Department had a historical event occur on August 6, 2020 when they swore in their first Career Female Firefighter. Firefighter Dianna Barna rose from the volunteers with the East End Volunteer Fire Company to Career Firefighter with badge no 96. She is pictured here after the 220 9-11 Memorial Service with Hazleton Firefighter Tony Colombo outside of St. Gabriel's Church. The entire department is proud of this young lady.
