City of Newburgh FD-911 Ceremony

City of Newburgh Fire Department,Local 589 IAFF held their 911 Ceremony on September 11 at intersection of Grand Ave and Park Place. Asst Chief William Horton welcomed everyone to the ceremony. Colors were presented by the City/Newburgh FD color guard followed by the Bagpipes of Newburgh Firefighters. Pledge of Allegiance was said. Deacon Peter Haight gave the opening prayer. This year ceremony was cut back due to the Covic-19. No names were read,firefighter rang bell for all that gave their life nineteen years ago. The FD bagpipes then played Amazing Grace and the colors were retired. After words everyone was dismissed.
