September 6, 2026 — Manchester, New Hampshire: For the 2026 New Hampshire 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, firefighters, first responders, families, and community people met on Sunday at Manchester's Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The event at the stadium on September 6 is listed by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

The 110 storeys of the World Trade Center buildings were represented by the 2,200 stairs that participants ascended. Every year, the 343 FDNY firemen who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as the other first responders who gave their lives, are honored.

A lanyard with a picture of one of the 343 firemen was carried by the participants. In commemoration, each participant rang a bell after reading the firefighter's name.

Jack Auen, a firefighter from Antrim, joined one of the teams competing in the Manchester tournament.
