ASHLAND, MA — August 24 — Anthony "AJ" Bott, the newest member of the Ashland Fire Department, was sworn in by Town Clerk Cindy Livingstone.
After finishing his department orientation, Bott, who just retired, enters the department and will be placed in Group 1.
He will enrolll at the Massachusetts Fire Academy in November after completing his paramedic training.
Bott will be better prepared for the fire and emergency medical services duties of his new role because to the combination of his paramedic education and fire academy training.
