On Friday, August 28, firemen Dincer and Sandoval of the Amherst Massachusetts Fire Department completed the 10-week Fire Academy offered by the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services.

Before going back to work for the Amherst Fire Department, the two firefighters finished the state fire academy curriculum. On August 31, the department welcomed both members back to work throughout the week and announced their graduation.

The firemen had an extended time of organized fire service training and professional growth throughout the 10-week academy. A significant milestone in their careers with the Amherst Fire Department is reached upon program completion.

The department noted that members were pleased to welcome Dincer and Sandoval back on duty and congratulated them on finishing the program.
