MARCY, NY — August 13, 2026 — The Maynard Fire Department had members participating again this summer in a recreational volleyball league at 12 North Sports Bar in Marcy.

The department’s team played Wednesday nites all season long, against other teams in the recreational league. The season did not see the firefighters win all the games, but it was a chance for the members to spend time together outside the firehouse and build camaraderie.

Adult volleyball leagues are hosted at 12 North Sports Bar’s Marcy location, which features several volleyball courts.

The Maynard Fire Department thanked 12 North for hosting another season and the teams they faced throughout the summer.
