MARCY, NY — August 2, 2026 — On Sunday, Maynard Fire Department personnel took part in a comprehensive emergency response drill at Whitesboro High School.

The drill was planned by the Whitesboro Central School District to take place at the high school between 8 and 10:30 a.m. According to the district, it was a comprehensive emergency drill intended to assess the response system and offer practical training.

Alongside fire, EMS, police enforcement, and other emergency response organizations, Maynard firemen took part. Participating agencies had the chance to practice response operations, coordination, and communication in a school environment through the exercise.
