Jamison Road Welcomed a New Junior Firefighter

ELMA, NY — August 29 — Dylan Trzepacz officially started his career as a Junior Firefighter with the Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Company on August 29, marking the day he turned 18.He joined the department as a way to celebrate his birthday and begin his journey in the volunteer fire service.
Trzepacz was officially welcomed into the fire company as he started his involvement in the volunteer fire service.
Junior firefighter programs offer young people the chance to learn about emergency service operations, take part in training, and get involved with their local fire company under proper supervision.
The Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Company was founded in 1941 and became the fourth volunteer fire company in the Town of Elma.
The company continues to offer fire and emergency medical services from its station located at 1071 Jamison Road.Its current equipment includes a ladder truck, pumper, rescue-utility vehicle, ambulance, and a UTV.
The company has also placed a strong emphasis on recruitment and training as part of its ongoing commitment to serving the Elma community through volunteer service.
For the emergency services community, Trzepacz's joining the team signifies the addition of another young individual who is beginning the training and service process within the volunteer fire service.
