IRVING, N.Y. — August 1 — The CIRVFD Fire/Rescue department honored its First Assistant Chief with a birthday message on August 1, recognizing their leadership and dedication to service within the organization.

The department, listed in Erie County records as Seneca Fire, was based at 12879 Route 438, Irving, NY 14081.

This location was also referred to by the Seneca Nation as the Seneca Fire Hall, which serves the Cattaraugus community.

The birthday recognition offered a chance for department members to acknowledge one of their officers, reinforcing the strong bonds that are essential in volunteer fire and rescue teams.

Leadership roles like assistant chief involve supporting various aspects of the department, including training, operational activities, equipment preparedness, and overall effectiveness.

In addition to its fire response duties, CIRVFD also played a role in emergency medical services.
