Avenel Fire Department (Woodbridge Twp NJ) Captain Dan Mizak. Captain Mizak has been in the fire service for more than 20 years. Serving in every rank as a volunteer until 2020. In 2020 when the Avenel Fire Department hired its first ever 8 career members Captain Mizak was one of the first 2 captains to be hired. Dan is the shift commander for A shift and is one of the leading members for the departments training.
