BRICK, NJ — August 12 — Members of Pioneer Hose Fire Company No.1, Station 22, participated in a hands-on training session on August 12 to enhance their vehicle extrication skills.

The training covered both fundamental and advanced techniques used in the process of rescuing occupants from damaged passenger vehicles.

Firefighters engaged in various procedures aimed at increasing their proficiency with rescue equipment and understanding the complexities involved in extracting individuals from crashed vehicles.

Pioneer Hose Fire Company is based at 312 Drum Point Road in Brick Township and provides fire protection services to residents in the southern part of the township through Fire District No.

The training on August 12 allowed firefighters to practice the basics of vehicle rescue while also engaging in more complex methods.
