Vincentown, NJ - Hampton Lakes Volunteer Fire Company recognizes Past Chief and Life Member Robert Young for his long-standing service and dedication to the department and Southampton Township community.

Robert Young began his volunteer fire service career in 2001 and has served the Hampton Lakes Volunteer Fire Company for 25 years. A lifelong Hampton Lakes resident, he quickly progressed through the ranks, serving as Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, and Fire Chief, a position he held from 2007 to 2011.

He has also gained additional experience with Vincent Fire Company Station 171 as well as duty crews with Willingboro Fire Department and Mount Holly Fire Department, bringing valuable operational knowledge back to Hampton Lakes.

Robert currently serves as Lieutenant, overseeing firefighter gear, equipment, and training. He holds multiple certifications including Firefighter I and II, Incident Management Level III, Hazmat Incident Commander, and Fire Police, along with training in leadership, technical rescue, and emergency vehicle operations.

Fire service runs deeply in the Young family, with multiple family members also serving at Station 172. Hampton Lakes Volunteer Fire Company thanks Past Chief Robert Young for his continued commitment, leadership, and service to the community.
