Tabernacle Fire Department Members Enhance Safety Skills Through ISO Training
Tabernacle, NJ - On August 23, 2026 in Burlington County, members of the Tabernacle Fire Department completed Incident Safety Officer (ISO) training aimed at strengthening fireground safety practices and operational awareness.
The course focused on the essential responsibilities of an Incident Safety Officer, including monitoring incident conditions, tracking firefighter accountability, and identifying potential hazards during emergency operations. Emphasis was placed on maintaining constant situational awareness to support safe and effective decision-making on scene.
Training was conducted with support from the Atlantic County Fire Academy, with additional assistance from the 200 Club of Burlington County, whose training grant helped facilitate the program.
The completion of this training enhances departmental readiness and reinforces a strong commitment to firefighter safety and disciplined incident management during emergency response operations.
