EAST WINDSOR, NJ — August 13, 2026 — At a company meeting this week, East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 welcomed two new members.

According to the fire company, Gino Esposito and Evan Lesser were formally sworn in during the company meeting by Station 42 President Jenna Pinkney.

In addition to adding new members to the volunteer fire company serving the East Windsor neighborhood, the ceremony signifies the start of the two members' tenure with Station 42.

In order to sustain staffing and long-term operational readiness, volunteer fire departments must recruit new members. New hires will have the chance to finish the necessary training, get acquainted with the tools and procedures of the department, and collaborate with seasoned firefighters.
