WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — August 24, 2026 — Washington Township Fire Department Deputy Chiefs Borkowski and Zemski resumed their monthly recognition program by honoring Lieutenant Tyler Odenath for his contributions to his unit and the department.

The monthly program honors a department member who constantly goes above and beyond for their colleagues and the organization.

Odenath was recognized for his dedication to the department's purpose, teaching members of his crew, and assisting in the maintenance of consistent personnel. Department commanders also acknowledged his consistency and leadership during each shift.

Odenath is assigned to Engine Company 10, which operates from the Greentree Road Station, and he works alongside his crew.
