Salem, NJ — July 26 — Elsinboro Fire Company held a day of staffing, training, and emergency preparedness activities in Salem, New Jersey, on July 26.

During the event, members practiced Mayday and Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) procedures, focusing on the essential skills required when a firefighter becomes lost, trapped, injured, or needs assistance during an incident.

The training included hands-on practice with firefighter rescue techniques, while ensuring that all personnel remained prepared for emergency calls.

Throughout the day, crews responded to two emergency alarms, demonstrating their ability to balance routine training with real-time response duties.
