On August 4, the Proctorsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to two different storm-related incidents involving power lines and trees.
Engine 2 responded to a tree and damaged power lines with a small fire at Twenty Mile Stream Road at Chapman Road. Another tree on power cables in the street prompted Tanker 1 to be sent to Heald Road, close to 548 Heald Road.
Tanker 1 stayed on Heald Road when Engine 2 passed Twenty Mile Stream Road. All Proctorsville personnel and equipment had returned to the station by 8:14 p.m.
